Jeremiah Cogsworth - The Man …. The Myth …. The Legend
Jeremiah Cogsworth was an imaginary inventor and designer of ‘curious contraptions’ in an imaginary Victorian era.
He designed hundreds of these ‘curious contraptions’ over the years and spent his whole family inheritance ( 2 shillings and sixpence in 19th century old money) ((worth over 14.4 million in today's money)) developing, manufacturing and advertising all sorts of gadgets and gizmos.
He was far ahead of his time in imaginary skills but way behind in common sense and no records exist to show whether he sold even one of his shiny futuristic objects.
Locked away in a dusty box for between 100 and 150 years (use your imagination dear readers) we stumbled across his blueprints and now plan on spending our whole family inheritance (unfortunately only about 2 shillings and sixpence in today's money) to reproduce these fantastically curious contraptions.
Rare and exclusive photo of Jeremiah Cogsworth demonstrating his ‘Weapon Of Choice’
Jeremiah Cogsworth spent nearly a shilling in old money (worth an absolute fortune today) on state of the art adverts to promote his curious contraptions
